As a family of Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Eatons commemorate the Memorial of Jesus’ Death each year. This is an important event for Jehovah’s Witnesses and is held on the anniversary of the evening when Jesus and his apostles observed the Last Supper. The Eaton family, along with Jehovah’s Witnesses all around the world, gather to remember Jesus’ sacrifice and to express their gratitude for the hope of life that his death and resurrection make possible.

This Memorial is also known as the Lord’s Supper, the Last Supper or the Lord’s Evening Meal. Jesus began the Lord’s Evening Meal on the date of the Jewish Passover, and he died later that same day. Scriptures compare Jesus’ sacrifice to that of the Passover lamb in the Jewish observance of Passover.
